Title: Custom project
Post by: Nic-z on May 19, 2008, 01:53:04 PM
Guys, I am building a brushless mini-z boat I have the basic hull of the boat but its a shell I have the brushless motor from a micro-t and the esc, an upgraded servo for the rudder, and lipos, now I need some help on how to secure the servo in place since the old posts won't be of much help for the new servo same goes for the motor. What do you guys suggest? Shoe good servo tape velcro, angled aluminium?

Hot Glue works good on plastic and can be released if needed. Might deform thin plastic though so be careful. Shoe Goo and servo tape work too. Make sure you seal up all the electronics as best you can with silicone or hot glue. Some pictures of the inside of the boat might be helpful.
