Title: mini z awd modded lots of upgrades for sale
Post by: benihanna80 on April 17, 2010, 12:40:11 PM
for sale or trade;

I bought an awd mini z and upgraded the fets, I am running 2X3 and run the atomic chili motor.  It is super fast.  I bought it to race and to drift but am leaning more towards the mr02 or 03 models.  this car is practically new, I have only raced it once and it is super clean and comes with everything ready to go plus lots of ugrades like aluminum heat sink motor mount and swingshaft.  Drop me a line if you are interested.

Ben,  if you don't have luck selling it here let me know,  I can list it on Mini-zracer.com for you.  they have a larger reader base. :)

the auction looks good,  I highly doubt you will get that for it though,   I know you have that in it as the AWD cars are expensive to get setup to race.   I think your more likely to sell it in the $200-250 range.  This is typically why I recommend the 02 or 03's as they are cheaper and easier to setup, and typically have a better resale price.

on the chance that you want to keep the AWD and use it.   you would want to convert it to a 94 or 98mm wheel base with a wide offset body.  then it would be more stable on the track.   I don't know of anyone that races the AWD at 90mm.   we could then talk about a slightly more powerful motor that would be evenly matched with the 70 turn HFAY motor that you could use on Club night.   For HFAY is would still need to be the HFAY motor however.
