Looking to pick up a used MR-02. I found a place that I can pick up a new I series for cheap ($75), was informed they they tend to glitch some. Would like to keep my first purchase around $100. So if anyone has any leads or has one for sale please let me know. If I do not find a used one in the next week or so I will pull the trigger on the i series I found online. here is one from ebay Item number:   250747891084

they are asking too much for that vs. what you get.  the only real upgrade is the motor mount.

this ebay auction is a better deal.

Seen that one a little late. However there is this one I don't see an I series designation. Is this the same as the ebay deal but a different body? only thing is,  I've not heard of this store. 

they have two of these listed and both at different prices.  one for $159 and one for $98.    they both have listed as the same part #.  I'd confirm with them if it's the i series or not.

Hmm, that is strange, plus could not find a number to call and confirm. I will just try to be patient for the right deal.  I am being impatient so I can hurry and start racing. LOL

Don't worry about it,  you can always come out to race.  We'll hook you up until you can find a good deal.  I'll post something up on Mini-z racer and see what people have.   I've been on there a long time, so maybe I can get you a good deal.

I've received a few PM's about the WTB I posted on MZR.   I'll keep you updated on what they have.   

I appreciate all the help Brian. Let me know if one is a keeper and I can do whatever is needed to get the money where it needs to go.

so far I have come up with this.

a brand new AM MR-02 chassis and TX for $90 shipped (Seller is in the UK, but is someone I know).   He can do $80 for the chassis alone if you already have a 27am TX.  the chassis was a short tail Mclaren,  it has the wheels and I have few of those bodies I can give you a deal on,  or possibly the Aston if that's the one you want and you can pick up the upgrades as you like.

Sounds like a plan. $90 shipped w/ tx will work. Do you want me to go through him directly or bring the money to you and you get from him?

I also have another guy that has one,  it's a used MR-02 with a used enzo body on it.   it would be mostly stock with the exception of bearings.  $100 shipped.

the Chassis looked pretty used, so I would suggest the first option above.   

Either way.   I can purchase it and get it coming if you'd like.   If you are going to come on Thursday you can pay me then.

If you like to do it,  I can get his paypal and pass it along to you,  that way it would be shipped directly to you. 

I agree I like the idea of new. And do not mind picking up a new or used body from you.

Either way works for me. I was planning on coming Thurs. so could pay you for the car and can choose a body and pay you for that also.

Let me see what he prefers,  I'll let you know as soon as I hear from him.

And I am going to be on that side of the freeway picking up kids, so I can bring you the money tonight if that makes it easier for you just to get it directly from him.

Rod,   Cars was shipped yesterday morning.    :D  oh,  you'll need a crystal set,  if you don't have any let me know and I'll get you a set on Thursday.
