Title: Nic's track is in my basement Post by: Plane Insane RC on March 02, 2008, 03:12:36 PM Guess you guys may have heard that Nic has his track setup in my basement. i have attached a couple of shots of the layout. I think I'll be changing it into an oval (with Nics permission) for the new guys so they wont be intimidated by all the turning. It gets frustrating when you keep hitting the walls and the reverse in these dang xmods just adds to it. If anyone want to come down to happy valley and run on Nics track, let me know and we schedule a time to run.

I believe my friend Chad is going to come this Thursday also. I was going to have him over to practice a bit before he comes to race so he can get a feel for it. And yes I finally put together all 3 boxes of track (WooHoo). Anyway he will want to buy a transponder also so bring extra if you have em. All I have are xmods so guess I'll be running one of those. Don't feel like you need to setup a race just for me. I don't mind running with your mini-z's. Just makes me want to get one thats all. Title: Re: Nic's track is in my basement Post by: briankstan on March 10, 2008, 01:03:49 PM the problem arrises when racing the Xmods against the Z's. it's not so much the speed and handeling but the Mini-Z radios are more powerful and will "washout" the signal from the the Xmod controller.
