I'm not really familiar with the other than Kyosho chassis cars. They sure look prety cool though. There is a discussion thread on various brands of aftermarket chassis' and the electronics you need. Looks like a guy could go in as deep as he wants with one. Maybe if you get one and it turns out really cool, everybody will follow suit.

However for cost and ease I would suggest just getting a PN pan car body and mounting it on a MR-02 with a fast motor, then add all the goodies as you go. The hard PN body comes with +3 wheels and is cheap (like $20 at the store). There is also a lightweight lexan body option for about $25 but you need to buy your own wheels.

I really like racing this category but really its harder to race in because of the speeds and the width of the body. But is sure is fun!!
