Man I'm a SPAZ!!

« Topic Start: February 06, 2008, 09:10:17 AM »

I was noticing that I recieved a nice crack on the left front king pin holder. Not sure when it happened but I imagine it was last Thursday. Its not all the way cracked and I think I'll run it anyway but I could use a new chassis. Anybody have a gently used or new one to sell?
When I first saw those Atomic SSG strengthener pieces that glue onto the front mounts I thought they were novelty. But it looks like they might have been a good thing. Maybe I should pick some up.

I've been reading a couple threads and blogs and have heard nothing but good things about the king pin holders, I will be buying some myself after my first crack (if I haven't already gotten one) I forget how many cars I bough but if I have a spare chasis I will let you know if you still want to go that route. I've never broke one of these.....

I know that the clear colored chassis are weaker than the light gray plastics.   I have seen the clear ones get broken.

a new one is only $10,   I have replaced them before,  you have to be careful when removing the steering gears and servo,  lot's of very little parts.

Kyosho MR-02 Chassis.

Yes its either there or Ebay through Hobby Japan. Since I need two I will probably go HJ. I could get both for $17 shipped. Since mine is only cracked though maybe I could just add the strengtheners now and call it good. If someone is making a Kennon order soon let me know because to get two through them with shipping is $27.00.

I have an order sitting in my cart.  I haven't pulled the trigger because I purchased that Porsche body.  it may still be a while before I place the order.  Sad

Well I got my PN 1 degree caster Tower Bar installed. Very easy to do by the way. It looks killer! I also put on 1 degree camber knuckles. I'm in the pursuit of high speed cornering. Hopefully I get there.
