Mine stock shocks had ball screws on both top and bottom. My first post explains how I mounted mine. The new shocks should have come with 4 screws about 1/2 long. 4 plastic washers, and 4 plastic inserts, as well as some preload spacers. Unsrew just the top stock shock mount with it still popped in on the stock shock, then pop the bottom mount off the stock shock while leaving the stock ball scew in the truck. Pop the Clash shock onto the ball stud at the bottom and use the supplied hardware to mount the top. Its really quite simple.

The top mount goes like this:

Screw/plastic washer/shock cap/plastic insert/truck chassis

thanks for the simple instructions.   I got it all put together.  then I realized that my servo saver is cracked.  I'll be getting a few of those to put in my box,  maybe running in the cold makes them more brittle as we all have broken them over the last few races.
