I havent even run one of these damn things yet and I just bought another one.

There is a store out south called Southvalley Hobbies and it had an M 03 Ferrari Enzo in red.
No transmitter. 185.00.  Bought it.  I will bring it out on Thursday to see if its a decent car or not.  Sure is pretty though!

Nice,  I've seen that down there.   Did LA help with it?   He works at SVH.   He occasionally races mini-z with us and also races the IGT's with Russ and Myself.

I run the MR-03 for my racer.   I like it for sure. I can show you what I've done to mine on Thursday  flex

FYI, You'll need the mini-z 2.4 for that car as they don't come with a TX.

The person that helped me was a really good looking little chick with dark hair.

I have a Spektrum on the way from Horizon, I will need to get a module for it from you.
I will probably wait to take it out of the box till after I come out Thursday. I will bring it though.  Hopefully, my other car will get here from Lousiana before Thursday. Otherwise, if you guys still have some cars we can run, we might need to run those!

Does anybody run the DNano's at all?  Those look like a lot of fun as well.

That's the owners wife, and I second your opinion.

I'll add a module to my next order for you.   What TX are you using it with?

I don't think that that radio is compatible with any of the mini-z cars...   from what I can see it isn't a module based TX.   The mini-z receiver and servo are build in the car and aren't compatible with the spectrum 2.4 system.   it needs to be a Kopropo ASF system (auto selecting frequency) to work with the cars.

I can show you on Thursday what I mean.

What about the EX1 UR?  It says it will take the module!  Is it up to snuff with the Spektrum?

I've really like my Kopropo Radio.   Most of the guys that Race mini-z's either use the EX-10 Helios ( same as JR-Z1) or the Ko EX-1UR models.  Guys with smaller hands prefer the EX1-UR because it's smaller.    I have been using the Helios for several years and don't have any complaints.

There new one is called the EX-10 Eurus,   it's the same model as the Helios with upgraded electronics, etc.

You can also use the Airtronics M8, M11 and the Futaba 3PK with the correct addapter, but you still need the Kopropo 2.4 AFS Module for them.  (the Eurus uses an updated module).

They have most everything that the other radios have.   I use mine for all my mini-z, plus my IGT.

good info. I will send mine back when it gets here and replace it with one of the Propos.  I will still need a module then. When we get out there Thursday I will have more than twenty questions.
Also picking up one of the Tamiya Mini kits. I have a few choices, PRO, Fiat , Mini etc....

Are you guys going to the Drifting cars thing over by West Valley hobbies tonight?

I won't be there,   Russ has been a few times as a spectator.

I only have my fleet of about 10 Mini-z's  (Racer, Pan, F1, Overlands)  and My Inferno 1/8 GT Nitro cars.   Some of the other guys (Russ, Luke and Chad) run other scales,  rock crawlers, trail rigs etc.   You'll meet them on Thursday.

I think Mini Z will be my thing.  I have looked long and hard at offroad racing and it just doesnt move me, I used to race RC10 Associated cars 25 years ago as a kid.

I have been moving from my big 30-40% airplanes to little indoor  and front yard planes that can still fly the full FAI pattern sequences.

As stuff gets smaller, I dig it more.  Don't know why, but its the way it is.
May have to look at getting a little track to run on in one of my empty rooms downstairs.

Someday, if luck is with us,, I would like to run 1/10 Touring cars indoor. That's one of my favorites.

Hopefully, my other car will get here from Lousiana before Thursday.

Did you get this one?

Kyosho Mini z MR-03 w/ KO RF901SM module  - eBay (item 250690650880 end time  Sep-03-10 19:30:17 PDT)

If so it has the 2.4 module with it. It will work in any module based KO Radio and the auction included an adapter for the other radios that are module based.

I know he got the red one that they had as SVH.  Not sure what other one he purchased, but that one on ebay was a killer deal with the car and module.
