that's a great deal for 2 cars.   I'd run them stock until you get used to them,  then we can help you go faster  eek

Wow, Heck Yes that is a very good deal. They are some of the older models but I'm sure they will work out fine for you. Just get some tires to start with. We use PN's from the shop. Thats all you will really need right off.

After that you may want some aluminum knuckles. Because the wheels stick out like that its inevitable that the knuckles will get broken.

I have some spare parts if you do break some things, let me know and I will see what I have.

Also I do have two brand new Kyosho F1 ball diffs for sale in the market place if you are interested. $30 each or $50 for both. Usually they are about $45 or more each.

you'll want PN 6 rears and 20 fronts to start,  if you then want more steering you can go with the 15 fronts.

Sounds like a plan!  If you could bring two sets of tires and the knuckles next Thursday, I will relieve you of them.  I hope I see some of my goodies today from ebay. I hate waiting for stuff.

Guy,

the stock wheel nuts are plastic,   most of us change them to the aluminum locknuts as after a few uses the strip pretty easily  and you don’t want to lose a wheel during a race.

The batteries that you are looking for are the orion 900.    I’ll be ordering some for one of the other guys,  if you want I can add a few more sets, just let me know.

Here is a link to the batteries in the store.

Thanks for the info.  My dad called a few minutes ago and said one of his wheels popped off.  He didn't mention if the axle was threaded or not.  I'm guessing they are?
I was surprised at how loose all the wheels and gear assemblies felt on these cars. In the slot car stuff, that would be a big deal!
