When do you guys want to plan on running the summer endurance race?    Any changes to the format or anything else you want considered.   Post up some ideas and dates that would work.

I really never did get a good answer from the war department on what would be the best date. Since it will be on a Thursday night I should be able to make just about any date. June is busy and July is worse for me so I would vote for some day in June if possible. The schedule shows we have two regular dates already scheduled, the 7th and 21st. Maybe the 21st would be the best.

Heres some stuff I came up with just thinking about new stuff we could do. Keep in mind this is just ideas for conversation.

1. Scheduled pit stops. We pull off every 15 minutes for a battery change and short break. Good consitant driving is going to get more laps so there shouldnt be a disadvantage to 3 scheduled breaks. I was thinking 1-3 minutes. 1 minute would be enough to change batteries comfortably without panicking and get the car back to where you took it off the track. 2-3 minutes would allow a short stretch to get the kinks out for us old guys (me mostly), or a small repair if needed.

2. Faster Motors - 50 turns are sure nice in the F1's  flex . But they wouldnt run as long.

3. Overland Class - Jumps and all  eek. Maybe 30 minutes or something would be fun.

4. Pan Car Class - Maybe 30 minutes or so with 2 scheduled pitstops.

Thats just a few ideas I had for now. I'll try and think of some others.

I like the idea of the pan car race for this,   we could do a 20 or 30 minute pancar race.

Not sure I like the Overlands on the bigger track,  would be pretty grueling especially if everyone is racing and we don't have marshals.

We currently don't have a date set but would like to do it at one of the next 2 races.   We can use June for the HFAY Big Track and the Enduro.   we will plan on running both outside on the bigger tracks.

We will be running the Summer Enduro this week,  please come with your car ready to go.

Setup starts at 4:00pm (if you can come as early as possible to help setup that would be great).  The sooner we get setup the sooner we can get tuning.   Below is the schedule that I would like to stick with so we can get done before the sun goes down.

Racing starts at 6pm, and will be run in the following order.

6:00-6:30.   Car Setup and Tuning
6:30   10 minute Pan Car
6:40-6:50 Break (10 minutes, Open Track)
6:50  1 Hour F1 Endurance Race
7:50 Break or car setup (20 minutes,  Open track)
8:10 1 Hour Sedan Endurance Race
9:30 Track Tear down and
