There is going to be an additional class added to the Schedule at the Ice Melter this year. This is going to be and experimental class that is being looked at to add to future races.
The Class is an open class so anyone can enter if you like. It’s going to be a 70 Turn (sealed/numbered) Motor class. If you want to run this class you can run it with the same cars, this will require you to change motors between races if you are running Super Stock (50T) and Pro Stock (70T). it you have an extra car that isn’t being used this is perfect to add another class if you like.
Pro-Stock:
Stock Mini-z electronics – No Fet Upgrades allowed. (Handout motor to be purchased at event for $8). Basically the same rules apply as Super stock but it’s a 70T class. Trophies will be awarded for A Main only.
Entry Fee:$15.00 for the first Class
$5.00 each additional Class.
additional Spec Motors to be purchase at event and will be available for $8 ea.
Additional information:This race has been run for the last 7 years as part of the Wild West Winter Carnival in Riverton, Wyoming. Members of Salt Lake Mini-Z have attended the last 6 years and it’s tons of fun and lots of great people. The race is held inside the casino (in the Ball Room) Kids are welcome to attend and race but are not permitted in the gaming area. There is a stage that is used for the drivers stand and a nice big track is setup. There are lots of great people to talk with and get help from. They have a raffle drawing that you are entered into when you register for the classes, one per class.
There is an onsite Hotel with discounted rates for racers. Nothing like racing all day and having your room 5 minutes away when you're done.
This is a great race to attend and we have great support from our Salt Lake Mini-Z Club Members.
