So this is what I was planning for traveling this year.

Chad and Luke:  Traveling and Rooming together.  (looks like Greg can’t make it because of work).
Russ and Ben:  Traveling and Rooming together.   Russ if you don’t mind I’d like to have you take the track and maybe some of the gear with you.  If you are taking you truck or the van this would work great either way.
Brian and Family:  Rooming together.
Nino and Cady:  Rooming together,  Traveling with Brian.

I’d like to do this because it will split the carpools evenly for everyone to share gas on the trip to even the cost for everyone.   It will give us plenty of room to get all the equipment there that needs to go.

After talking to Chad it look like they will leave a little later than what I was planning (9-10am) so they will be a few house behind.   I’d like to be there around noon so I’m planning on leaving at 6am.   Would this work for you Russ?   What were you thinking about leaving time?

I havent talked with Ben about who is doing the driving for us yet but I can drive if needed. I think I could take the wifes van. And if so I would suggest that 2 other people ride with me and Ben. Seems silly to take 3 cars when 2 will do, and splitting gas will be cheaper. I'm ok leaving at whatever time but honestly 6am sounds pretty damn early  You Crazy and 8 sounds better Tongue. It would however be safer to leave at the same time and travel as a group if possible.

I will take as much gear/track as I can fit into my vehicle if I drive.

I would prefer to leave early to get there and get the track setup,  the earlier the track is up, the sooner we can get some run time on it.  if we leave earlier we can arrive around noon or before to get setup.

I had the break down that way so everyone could carpool,  but you could probably have Chad and Luke ride with you if they wanted too.  It really doesn't do any good for me to show up early if you guys won't be there with the track and the track can't be setup until it gets there because half of the track we are bringing.   I guess if that is the case I'll have to drive the stuff up with me and not carpool, then I can't split gas with anyone and we still probably take 3 vehicles eek

I guess it's up to when you all want to leave.  I'm good either way.   flex

I dont care when we leave. It is up to luke. I said 9 or 10 because that is what we did last year. If russ gets thevan it coukd be me ben and luke riding with russ but I dont know if luke will leave that early. If not then me and luke would take my car. So its up to luke and russ being able to get the van

so I've got a few more bodies painted for this race.

 Worthless without pics

so here they are,  this is my freshly painted McLaren

Meilin wanted a Pink one, so I painted one of the used bodies I had for her.  she picked out the stickers from one of her sticker books and was very excited to have her own customized car.  Happy

Shuman also wanted me to do something so she didn't lose her car with all the other red cars on the track.  Smiley  I decided the best thing to do was to paint up a really bright car for her that nobody else would have.   this is what I came up with.  whistle

other shots can be seen in my ice melter 2014 gallery here.

yep,  Meilin has been doing the most practicing, she is up to over 50 laps on the last track we ran,   Shuman's best was 57, and Cygen's best was 89 running all of them together.   I'd imagine Cygen would be laps faster running with some better drivers that he didn't have to always avoid.  they have been running about 2 or 3 races a night.

I've been working on cars and getting them ready.   I have Cygen's F1 done as well so he is going to race that class as well.

I got my other car put together and put in a 113 lap run in on it's first and only run, and with my pan I did a 114 lap run,  lots of speed but still many mistakes (best lap was a 3.77).
